Transport of rescue animals

It comes through my area. I volunteered and decided to take a section "travel" of a trip and take an animal from one person in the chain to another.

I think that this work is attractive. I met Mr. Beesley who is doing this. I have met wonderful people who love animals throughout the group. I am now transporting animals, as well as friends who raise animals in a short period of time or keep animals.

Most of these animals came from a beloved house, have been often taken care of and were truly deeply loved. It was not their own fault, their owners had to give up on them. They received rescue, not an animal shelter, so that they have a better chance in life. Most evacuation centers will kill animals after a certain period of time. Cats living in rescue are allowed to live their natural life.

PetFinder is a wonderful resource for adoption, but also for rescue. Let's say you live in Florida, watch the cat you want to adopt, live in Pennsylvania. The cat will travel to your house. Even if you compensate for the service that you brought animals, the driver will do this for the love of animals. The fees you pay for adoption include veterinary care, proof of crossing the border, and a small fee for continuing the organization.

Luck was good as it was lucky. Instead of following the protocol, I decided to attack by myself to move animals, so I am part of the transportation by other people. I raised a cat overnight if necessary. I have prepared a second trash can for this use and always have extra bowls. My cat may be slightly frustrated with visitors, but I hug everyone, if possible, and keep the schedule so that cats will go home forever. Usually, my coordinator will control everything, meet someone elsewhere in the town, drive to the next meeting place for about 90 minutes, drop the animal with the next foot. The biggest thing I'm worried about is that it will not delay transportation late. I had a big dog, but I was worried because I was not in my career. It worked fine, but I do not transport the animal any more than a crate. I was worried about the dog so much that the trip made me desperate.

The affected areas of the hurricane still produce a lot of animals that the owner may never meet again. It is so painful that I will be overwhelmed by the size of the troubled cat and dog. I know that I cried at a recent PBS Special. It fired me to do as much as I can. I live in a small apartment and I can not legally keep a cat, but I can grow a cat for a short period of time (one to two weeks if necessary) one at a time. Meanwhile, the cat will be taken care of and loved, and will live a normal life as much as possible. When the time to welcome the road again, I cleaned up the carrier and I was ready. Stuff all of the documents and personal items for the cat and leave for the next meeting for the next meeting. Transporter.

To participate in this work, Yahoo! Please look for. Sign up or register with a group or an animal rescued group or Google Forum. Please post your offer, thought, concern to the forum and provide your e-mail address to the transport leader. If you can grow animals, please do so. Even a short stay is greatly appreciated. If you are able to take animals of special needs, please let them know. FeLV-positive cats need special attention and need to be distinguished from popular cat populations. Diabetic cats require special food, and sometimes drugs.
